Organization Overview

History

In accordance with National Taiwan Normal University Directives for the Establishment of the Student Counseling Center, student counseling center was established at April, 1st, 1980. Directors are hold a dual position by professors or associate professors in department of educational psychology and counseling. Previous directors in order, Prof. Kun-Huei, Liu (April, 1980 – July, 1988), Prof. Shuh-Ren Jin (August, 1988 – July, 1991), Prof. Ping-Hwa , Chen (August, 1991 – July, 1993), Prof. Pei-Li, Wu (August, 1993 – August, 1994), Prof. Li-Chou, Chen (September, 1994 – July, 2004).

Following the passage of amendments to university organization charter in the 97th university council meeting on January 31st, 2007, student counseling center has been affiliated with office of student affairs since august, 1st, 2007. Following directors are Prof. Chia-Hsin, Lin (August, 2004 – July, 2008), Assoc. Prof. Hsueh-Chun, Fan (August, 2008 – July, 2010), Prof. Li-Chou, Chen (August, 2010 – July, 2013), Prof. Hsiu-Lan, Tien (August, 2013 – July, 2016), Assoc. Prof. Hsiu-Jung, Chen (August, 2016 – July, 2019), Prof. Hsiu-Lan, Tien (August, 2019 – July, 2020), Prof. Yu-Chen, Wang (August, 2020 – July, 2022), Assoc. Prof. Min-Pei, Lin (August, 2022 – July, 2023). Assoc. Prof. Chao-Mei, Chiang is current director of student counseling center (August, 2023 –)

Vision
